Timber Knock Off LAFC On Road

Christian Paredes scored the only goal of the match in the 45th minute of Friday as the Portland Timbers knocked off the Los Angeles Football Club 1-0 on the road on Friday to climb up to fifth place in the Major League Soccer Western Conference standings.


The Timbers will take part in the Leagues Cup this coming Wednesday at home against Atletico de San Luis (Apple TV/Fox Sports One, 7:30 PM PDT).


Portland next MLS match is on Saturday, August 9, on the road against FC Dallas (5:30 PM Pacific Time/Apple TV/KXTG Radio).
