MLS Cup Playoffs: LAFC Holds Off Austin In Series Opener

 At BMO Field, Los Angeles:


In the lone Wednesday MLS Cup Playoff match, Nathan Ordas scored the winning goal in the 74th minute as the Los Angeles Football Club held off visiting Austin FC 2-1 in the opening contest of a best-of-three Western Conference quarterfinal series.


This series will continue on Sunday at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas at 5:45 PM PST (Apple TV/Fox Sports One/Fox Deportes).


Remember folks, this coming Sunday marks the return of Standard Time.
